Step into Bel Royal Motors and you enter one of the oldest and most respected motor businesses in Jersey.  Established in 1926 by Mr P Le Marquand, the Le Marquand family has been serving Jersey motorists for over 90 years.

Over the decades, Bel Royal Motors have remained on the same site on the corner of Victoria Avenue and La Route de St Aubin.  This commanding position has made the site synonymous with the motor trade in Jersey.  You can see some photos of how our premises has developed over the year on our Evolution page.

In 1926, Mr P Le Marquand started business in general engineering.  Servicing, maintaining and repairing bakery machinery, woollen mill machines, lawn mowers, marine engines and, on one occasion, servicing a Bristol fighter plane.

In the post war years, Bel Royal Motors were agents for Jowett motor cars which included the Jupiter, Javelin and Bradford.  More recently, we have represented brands such as Morris, Fiat, SEAT, Kia and Mazda.

Initially, sales and service were carried out on the same premises but car sales growth and the need to move the petrol forecourt pumps away from the main road necessitated the relocation of the service and parts business to Sandybrook in St Peter.

To this day, Bel Royal Motors continuously strives to provide its customers with high quality, value for money service based on traditional family values.  We deliver this service by empowering our employees and encouraging and monitoring customer feedback.  These values are delivered by a loyal, hard working team, some having worked for the company for over 30 years.
